London Folk Festival to be held at Cecil Sharp House

Gadarene, Stick in the Wheel and Threepenny Bit are among the artists lined up to play at the London Folk Festival.

Taking place on Saturday 12 September, the event builds on the success of the London Folk Fayre and features live performances alongside workshops and singarounds.

Blackbeards Tea Party, Coach House Company and Ewan McLennan will also be performing as part of the event.

The festival is held at Cecil Sharp House, the London home of English Folk Music, just a few minutes from Camden Town.

Meanwhile, the English Folk and Dance Society has recently announced details of its autumn events programme at Cecil Sharp House.

Highlights include performances from Martyn Joseph, John Spiers and Martin Simpson and Dom Flemons.
