Other tracking technologies
Email communications
We may use tracking technologies (e.g pixel tags, web beacons) to understand if you have engaged with marketing communications we may send you (e.g if you have read, clicked links, forwarded an email) so that we can monitor and improve future communications. For example, web beacons are used by our third party email system, Dotmailer, to track the efficiency of our email communications. You can opt out of marketing communications by unsubscribing from an email communication you have received or by contacting us using the details set out below.
Social media
Facebook Custom Audiences and X (formerly called Twitter) Tailored Audiences are utilised to provide users with relevant content including education pieces and industry news. This also incorporates Instagram because they are managed via Facebook’s parent company, Meta. These tracking technologies can be opted out of directly at each of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Users can customise their Meta, Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly called Twitter) experience by hiding sponsored posts provided by PRS for Music.
