PRS for Music member Dua Lipa has made BRIT Awards history, becoming the first female artist to receive five nominations in a single year.
The breakthrough pop star is nominated for British female solo Artist, British album, British breakthrough act, British single and British artist video at this year's awards.
Her breakout single, New Rules, helped her become the UK's most streamed female artist on Spotify last year and also saw her bag the first solo female number one slot since Adele’s Hello in 2015.
Ed Sheeran follows with four nominations for British male solo artist, British artist video, British single and British album award.
East London MC J Hus and last year’s most successful debut artist, Rag’n’Bone Man, both received three nominations.
The 2018 ceremony will be held at The O2 on 21 February.
