Christian Löffler, a German electronic musician, has signed a new publishing deal with Manners McDade.
The artist, who released his second album Young Alaska at the end of last year, is well known for blending melancholy with euphoria across his productions, using real world recordings alongside the electronics.
Commenting on his own music, Christian said: ‘All my music is connected by a gloomy spirit, which is minted by a warm sincerity. I try to merge all kinds of different acoustic colors to obtain this feeling in my music.’
Catherine Manners, director of Manners McDade, said: ‘With this signing, we are delighted to add such a high calibre electronic artist to our roster. He has a great future ahead of him both as a live and recording artist.’
Christian joins the Manners McDade roster alongside the likes of Hamburg-born composer Martyn Heyne and Nonkeen, a new band from electronic composer Nils Frahm.
