Nonkeen, a new band from electronic composer Nils Frahm and R&S signees, has inked a new publishing deal with Manners McDade.
The band features Nils Frahm and his friends Frederic Gmeiner and Sebastian Singwald. Their debut album The Gamble is out on R&S on 5 February 2016. Nonkeen’s sound brings together electronic rhythms, jazz melodies and world influences.
The trio met at primary school in Hamburg in the 1980s. Nils Frahm engineered the tapes, which were recorded at a number of rehearsal spaces over the course of the last ten years.
Manners McDade is a London-based music publisher and composer agency, specialising in new classical and electronic music. They company are Frahm's exclusive publishers as well as working with a roster including Poppy Ackroyd (UK), Federico Albanese (Italy) and Fabric's Houndstooth Catalogue.
