PRS partners with MBW to commemorate 110 years of songwriting

PRS for Music is pleased to announce the launch of a specially curated digital magazine commemorating its 110-year anniversary, published in partnership with Music Business Worldwide (MBW). Read the magazine in full.

The meticulously crafted edition celebrates PRS's rich legacy while charting towards a future that's centred on innovation, impact and advocacy. Through a collection of exclusive features, the magazine highlights PRS’s vital role in the music industry, its vibrant member community and its influence on global music markets, demonstrating the remarkable journey of both the music business and PRS as an organisation over the past 110 years.

Produced in collaboration with MBW’s sister print title Music Business UK, the magazine was distributed to its subscribers alongside the Q2 print edition of MBUK and includes contributions from some of the industry’s leading writers including Eammon Forde and Mark Sutherland.

Featured articles include award-winning Nigerian producer and songwriter Andre Vibez unpacking how he helped craft the first Afrobeats track to hit a billion streams, global ambassador of Panjabi music, Karan Aujla, sharing his story of cultural fusion and international success, and Emmy-winning composer Michael Price discussing the vital role PRS plays when it comes to advocating  on behalf of its 175,000 members.
