Graphic design project Bands FC has been building up a considerable online following over the summer for their glorious mashups between football badges and band logos.
The designers behind the project, Mark Liptrott and Nick Fraser, have been working tirelessly to create hundreds of their badges over the last month or so, causing a fervor with both music and football fans, sometimes even with the bands themselves.
How does it work? The concept is simple, put in their own words the project is: 'Bands as football teams and football teams as bands'.
In an earlier Tweet, Bands FC demonstrated the process behind each creation. Taking a bands logo, typography or imagery, Mark and Nick merge these elements with the colours and design of a corresponding football teams badge, resulting in their final product.

Having become something of a viral sensation, the duo have already started putting plans in place for an exhibition to show their work to the public. They have also started sponsoring both a girls and a boys football team and say they will sell wall charts and badges to raise money for their kits.
They say any remaining money will be used to help new bands go into a studio to record their music.
