Now in its ninth year, the judging panel features songwriters and producers, including Tom Odell Imelda May, Chris Difford and Dan Gillespie Sells.
Song Academy’s mission is to enable young people to express themselves and be heard. Founded 10 years ago, Song Academy strives to inspire and nurture the next generation of songwriters and creative leaders.

This wonderful competition empowers young songwriters, enabling them to showcase their talent and offering them a ‘one of a kind’ opportunity to gain crucial feedback from some of the very best songwriters. Prizes for this year’s competition include a professional music video and live session recording, a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 3 Studio Bundle, Cubase Pro music software, a prize from Yamaha and the opportunity to perform in Young Songwriter 2020 showcase at The Tabernacle, London.
