Emerging singer-songwriter Winnie Raeder has signed a global deal with the publishing arm of Warner Music.

Born and raised in Abbenraa, a small town in Denmark, Raeder grew up on blues before discovering soul and gospel.

Last year she recorded Mahogany Sessions and recently played support slots for Alex Vargas, Nikhil and Banfi.

She is currently working on her debut EP, which is expected to be released later this year.

Mike Smith, managing director, Warner/Chappell Music UK says: ‘I was completely blown away when I first heard Winnie’s demos. Her writing and her live performances keep getting better and stronger. I feel like we’ve jumped on a real talent very early on and I’m confident this is going to be a long and successful partnership.’

Tim Cronin and Paddy Dalton, co-managers, Frank Music Management added: ‘We’ve all felt that on a very human level both Mike and Tom Coulson-Smith have understood Winnie and the music she creates. They and the rest of the Warner/Chappell team have championed her from the outset and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be at the beginning of this exciting journey with them.’
