Wild Beasts, the eccentric guitar toting quartet from Kendal, have announced news of their latest Present Tense album and live tour.
This latest release - their fourth full length album - is the follow up to 2011’s Smother and will be released on Domino on 24 February. Album opener Wanderlust will be released on the same day as a single.
According to the band, the LP was recorded between Bath and London over the last year with co-producers Lexxx and Brian Eno protégé Leo Abrahams.
Chris Talbot from the band said: ‘We spent ages programming and piecing individual parts together.
‘It was built on computers rather than played first, and we had the feeling that anyone in the band could do anything without feeling they had one role to stick to.’

18 February - Paris, Nouveau Casino
4 March - Brooklyn, Music Hall Of Williamsburg
6 March - Los Angeles, The Troubadour
8 March - Mexico City, El Plaza Condesa
