The 59th Ivor Novello Awards took place on 22 May, attracting a wealth of songwriting and composing talent. We were on hand to chat to the winners, nominees and guests – watch the first instalment of our video series here.
Nile Rodgers, Jeff Beck and London Grammar (above) were among the winners on the day.
The Chic songwriter and producer received the PRS for Music Special International Award, while Jeff Beck received the PRS for Music Outstanding Contribution to British Music prize.
Newcomers London Grammar won the gong for Best Song Musically and Lyrically while upcoming talent Tom Odell won the coveted Songwriter of the Year accolade.
