Warner Music Group creates global repertoire role

Warner Music Group has appointed Heath Kudler to the new role of executive vice president of global repertoire acquisition.

Warner Music Group has appointed Heath Kudler to the new role of executive vice president of global repertoire acquisition.

Kudler will be responsible for expanding the company’s music portfolio including the procurement of new catalogues, labels and artists.

He is based at the major’s New York headquarters and will report to chief executive Stu Bergen.

Prior to joining WMG, Kudler worked for Epic Records from 2011 to 2014, most recently serving as executive vice president of business and legal affairs. He previously spent 15 years at Island Def Jam Music Group.

Bergen said: ‘We are constantly seeking to enhance and expand Warner Music Group’s outstanding roster of artists and labels, and Heath will be a tremendous asset as we leave no stone unturned to bring the world’s best music into the Warner Music Group family.’
