Calling all songwriters, composers and music publishers – the European Commission has launched a copyright consultation and is seeking your input. Act now to have your say.
The consultation, which launched last month and closes on 5 February, is the first step in a journey which could ultimately affect the money rightsholders receive for their work.
Therefore PRS for Music is urging its members and other industry stakeholders to take part in the survey.
It has prepared a simplified version of the questionnaire to make it easier for creators to submit their views; although it can be used anyone with an interest in copyright. Take part now to have your say: http://www.rightsholderseucopyright.co.uk/

If you need additional support in responding to this consultation, please contact PRS for Music at policy@prsformusic.com.
PRS for Music is monitoring the consultation closely and will update its members when the Commission reviews all submissions and issues its statement this spring.
