BBC Music is calling for listeners to vote for the 50 Great Jazz Artists of all time in a new programme taking place as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
The jazz community has nominated a whole host of artists including Gregory Porter, Dave Brubeck, Ornette Coleman and Ella Fitzgerald.

Voting closes at 8pm on Thursday 22 October. The final results will be revealed in a 50 Greatest Jazz Artists show presented by BBC Radio 3's Geoffrey Smith and Jazz FM’sHelen Mayhew.
This broadcast will take place between Thursday 12-Sunday 15 November at 4pm each day on the pop-up jazz radio station.
The EFG London Jazz Festival takes place Friday 13-Sunday 22 November.
