Vice editor-in-chief Rebecca Nicholson and Boiler Room chief operating officer Mazdak Sanii are confirmed speakers at the next Young Guns Network event.

The guests will lead talks and Q&A sessions to discuss their respective fields at the session on 24 March at WeWork, London.

Journalist Nicholson was at The Guardian before joining Vice last September. Focusing on her current role, she’ll be sharing details on how the site does digital storytelling and resists clickbait while exploring the false notion that young people have no attention span or loyalty.

Sanii was a non-executive director of live streaming site Boiler Room before taking the chief operating officer role in 2014.

Outside of the dance music arena, Sanii is also a trustee of the London Contemporary Orchestra.

The Young Guns Network celebrates its third anniversary at the event. Following its inception, over a thousand under-30s have joined and continue to engage with the initiative’s events, conversations and other members.

Tickets are £5 and are available at http://www.younggunsnetwork.co.uk/events/ygn-presents-3rd-birthday-special/
