The Ultimate Seminar returns to London next month with a packed programme including songwriters Etta Bond and Cass Lowe, and BMG Music Publishing’s Charlene Grant.

Now in its ninth consecutive year, the free event will offer attendees insight into all areas of the industry, from managing talent, to the latest publishing trends and how to make it as an artist.

This year’s programme, which runs on Saturday 24 November in London, will consist of panels and keynotes including a ‘fireside chat’ with RCA UK and Ministry of Sound Recordings president David Dollimore.

He will share his top industry tips and predictions, as well as his background in the recordings business, from his first big break to his time at RCA.

Other speakers include Sulinna Ong (global vice president, artist marketing, Deezer), Rob Pascoe (general manager, Virgin EMI), Charlene Grant (senior A&R, BMG Music Publishing), Cass Lowe (Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter and producer – Chance The Rapper, Snakehips) and singer-songwriter Etta Bond.

There will also be speed networking sessions and a ‘Music Surgery’, which offers attendees the chance to chat one-on-one with music industry experts.

Endorsed by the likes of Stormzy, Dua Lipa manager Ben Mawson and Island Records US president Darcus Beese, the seminar gives young people the chance to hear from those at the very top of the game and those who have torn up the rules.

Registration is free and open now at http://www.cre8ingvision.com/events/ultimate-seminar-2018/

The Ultimate Seminar is delivered by Cre8ing Vision in association with the University of Westminster. It is sponsored by Island Records, Polydor Records, Parlophone Records, Believe Digital, Spitfire Audio, mysnapp, Virgin EMI Records and BMI.

Cre8ing Vision founders Kwame Kwaten, Nicola Charles and Andrea Euell said: ‘The rule book is being torn up every day. Innovative ways that smart Cre8tive entrepreneurs can promote and unlock niche audiences, turn those audiences and fanbases into sustainable careers is number one on this year’s seminar agenda.

‘From managers to lawyers, label PR to managing directors - The Ultimate Seminar is the one-stop shop for those wanting to unlock the knowledge and realise their own business potential. We expect it to be oversubscribed as it is each year, so make sure you book early.’
