UK Music has launched its This Is Music Creators’ Survey for 2024.
The annual economic survey aims to help UK Music — who represent AIM, BPI, FAC, The Ivors Academy, MMF, MPA, MPG, Musicians’ Union, PPL and PRS for Music — gather information on creators' earnings in order to calculate the economic contribution the music industry made to the UK last year.
A vital resource for policymakers, this information also helps UK Music and its member organisations advocate on behalf of music creators when speaking to the government. The findings of this year's survey will be published as part of UK Music’s annual This Is Music report in the autumn.
The This Is Music Creators’ Survey 2024 — which you can take part in here — is open to anyone who is a full-time or part-time professional music creator, with artists, musicians, composers, songwriters, lyricists, singers, producers and engineers all eligible.
Everyone who takes part in the survey will be entered into a prize draw, where a £100 Amazon voucher, GAK music store voucher or PMT music store voucher can be won.
