Latitude Festival, Dot to Dot Festival and Liverpool Music Week were among the winners announced at last night's (Thursday) UK Festival Awards 2017.
The event, which took place at London’s Troxy, is an annual celebration of the achievements of the festival circuit, recognising both major and grassroots festivals.
Freddie Fellowes, founder of the iconic Secret Garden Party festival, received The Outstanding Contribution to Festivals Award. The festival celebrated its last edition in July, following 15 years of hosting.
Latutude Festival picked up the award for Best Major Festival, Dot to Dot won Best Festival for Emerging Talent and Liverpool Music Week was awarded Line-Up of the Year, for its 30-strong bill which included Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Mount Kimbie and Perfume Genius.
Other winners on the night included 2000 Trees who picked up The Grass Roots Festival Award and End of the Road Festival, who tweeted: 'Absolutely thrilled to have won Best Medium Sized Festival last night!'
