Fast-rising independent artist Tyni has thrown her weight behind Help Musicians UK’s Music Minds Matter campaign.

The Sheffield artist’s track Fighter has been selected by the charity to soundtrack its new Music Minds Matter 24/7 mental health support line.

Help Musicians UK has also released it as a single to raise funds and awareness for the service and is calling for music fans to ‘donate with a play’, via clicks on streaming services and by downloading the track.

Tyni has recorded with big name songwriters and producers in the UK and LA including Wayne Wilkins (Beyoncé, Cheryl), MNEK (Zara Larsson, Madonna, Little Mix), PC Music’s Sophie (Britney, Madonna) and Charli XCX, and is fast gaining attention for her own brand of glitchy synth-pop bangers.

She released Fighter independently in Spring 2017, and has steadily racked up over 400,000 plays on Spotify since, as well receiving airplay from BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Introducing.

Music Minds Matter was launched in December 2017 and combines advice, signposting, clinical pathways and professional therapeutic services, including counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

It also offers access to the charity’s grant funding, plus advice on legal issues, debt and benefits.
