Trent Reznor, the songwriting force behind Nine Inch Nails, is composing the score to Gone Girl, the latest film from David Fincher.
The musician confirmed via Twitter that he will be collaborating with Atticus Ross on the new score.
Previously, the pair worked together on providing music for Hollywood hits The Social Network in 2010 and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo in 2011.
The pair received a Golden Globe and an Oscar for best original score for their work on the former.
Gone Girl stars Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne, a man accused of murdering his wife, Amy (played by Rosamund Pike) after she goes missing.
Trent Reznor is also believed to be performing at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles as part of a rock 'supergroup' featuring Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age and Dave Grohl.
