Iconic BBC pop music programme, Top Of The Pops is to make a comeback of sorts in February after a five year hiatus.
Listeners to the Official Chart Show hosted by Reggie Yates (pictured) every Sunday at 4pm will be able to watch videos, live performances and interviews with acts featuring in the UK Top Ten online and interact with the programme through Facebook and Twitter. Although the programme isn't being billed as an attempt to bring back the Top Of The Pops format, the show will give fans a 21st Century version of the chart countdown.
The new format will begin from Sunday 26 February. Presenter Yates said of the changes: 'For the first time fans will be able to see all the antics and interviews that take place each week on the show in the run up to announcing the Number One single as well as being able to watch the music videos from the Top Ten artists.'
