London singer-songwriter and producer Tom Misch has signed a worldwide deal with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).

The 21-year-old Londoner has racked up over 80 million streams and sold out his upcoming dates at London venues Ronnie Scott’s and The Printworks.

Mixing guitars, neo-soul songwriting and beats influenced by J Dilla, his sound has attracted love from DJs Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, Clara Amfo and Jaden Smith.

Recent co-writes include Damselfly for Loyle Carner’s debut album, and he has earned a reputation as one of the best UK producers following remixes and reworks for the likes of Lianne La Havas, Mos Def and Busta Rhymes.

Earlier this year Misch dropped his highly-acclaimed 5 Day Mischon project, recorded over a period of five consecutive days in his bedroom where he collaborated with Carmody, Novelist, Will Heard and more.

Mike McCormack, Managing Director of Universal Music Publishing UK, said: ‘We’re hugely excited to be working with Tom – he is an exceptionally talented songwriter and producer. Everything he puts out is refreshing, original and beautifully produced.

‘Currently hard at work on his debut album – expect much more magic to come. I’d also like to thank Mark Gale and Pete Simmons here at UMPG who have been fans and supporters of Tom from day one and worked tirelessly to convince him and his management that Universal was the right home for his music.’
