Sheffield producer Toddla T and vocalist Roses Gabor will use Facebook and Twitter to release their new song.

The Beats per Minute project is part of the BACARDI Beginnings initiative and will see the pair release their latest track Pandora’s Box (BACARDÍ Beginnings) using social media.

Only the beat will be initially released with tweets and Facebook likes from fans revealing more of the song.

Once the track is fully released aspiring producers will be able to get hold of the stems and compete to offer the best remix.

The winner will be chosen by Toddla T and Roses and get the chance for a studio production masterclass with the producer.

Toddla T said: New music and new talent really excite me as a producer. Roses Gabor came straight into my mind when I was asked to take on the BACARDÍ Beginnings challenge as she has such a distinctive sound and vibe.

‘The main thing for me about this project is making a great song. I’m genuinely excited to see what people do with the parts. The idea that people can grab bits and do their own thing means there is no limit to creativity. That’s the reason for a remix, to take it to your own world.’

The first BACARDI Beginnings project saw Rudimental and Bipolar Sunshine undertake the A and R process in 24 hours to create an original track Distance (BACARDÍ Beginnings), as well as release and perform it.

Music fans will be able to unlock this new song from Toddla T and Roses Gabor from 4 September. Visit www.bacardibeginnings.com for more information.
