Ticketmaster has announced the ten artists and bands tipped to dominate the live music scene in 2020.
The ticketing platform's 'New For 2020' list sees Celeste, Bree Runway, Aitch, Scarypoolparty, Fletcher, Arlo Parks, JC Stewart, Inhaler, Beabadoobee and The Snuts predicted to draw in the biggest crowds throughout the year.
The acts named have been hand-picked by Ticketmaster's Artist Services team.
Andrew Parsons, managing director, Ticketmaster UK, said: 'A new year calls for new discoveries and 2020 is no different. Our list is more than just soulful ballads and unpredictable rap – it’s a diverse celebration of artists who’ve been here all along but are only now getting to be heard. We want to continue to be the place where fans come to discover the hottest acts making noise across the industry, and we will always support artists at whatever stage of their career they’re at.'
Arlo Parks said: 'I’m so happy to have been selected in Ticketmaster’s New For 2020. On stage is where I feel most alive – I love that feeling of intimacy and genuine connection with everyone in the room. I’m really looking forward to touring and playing in loads of new places in 2020.'
The Snuts said: 'We’re grateful to Ticketmaster for recognising us as one of their artists to look out for in 2020! It’s going to be a big one…'
In previous years, Ticketmaster staff have recognised the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Slowthai, Dermot Kennedy, Sigrid, Pale Waves and Tom Walker as ones to watch.
