The Mallrats, an alt-grunge trio and Calls Landing, an emo rock four piece, have won performances at the Leeds and Reading Festival 2015.
The pair will join the likes of Metallica, Bring Me the Horizon and Catfish and the Bottlemen in playing across the two sites 28-30 August.
According to organisers, the Mallrats will play the BBC Introducing stage after winning the Centre Stage Competition. This initiative gives young bands the chance to play the festival while simultaneously raising funds for the Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Calls Landing were crowned winners of the Futuresound Competition, coming top after battling with 40 other acts. They will now play the Lock Up Stage, performing alongside the likes of New Found Glory and Ghost.
Other runners up performing on the BBC Introducing stage include Where Fires Are, Samuel S.Parkes, Happy Daggers, Treason Kings and NARCs.
The full BBC Introducing line up for Leeds and Reading will be announced on 11 August.
