The Ivors returns for its 67th year on Thursday 19 May 2022.
Tickets are now available to companies or individuals within the UK music industry for the awards ceremony that brings together the music creator community to recognise the best songwriting and screen composing talent.
The day kicks off from 11.30am with a drinks reception followed by a three-course lunch in the Grosvenor House Great Room. The exclusive awards ceremony begins at 2.30pm and includes the presentation of fourteen Ivor Novello Awards.
Music commercially released for the first time in the UK during 2021 will be eligible for this year’s awards. PRS for Music Most Performed Work will return with past winners including Adele, Ed Sheeran and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man. Best Album, Best Contemporary Song and Best Song Musically and Lyrically will recognise creative excellence in songwriting. Best Original Film Score, Best Original Video Game and Best Television Soundtrack will acknowledge exceptional screen composition.
The Rising Star Award with Apple Music will return for the third year. Created to honour young talent who demonstrate exceptional potential, the award includes a mentoring scheme from Apple Music where all nominees receive a year-long mentorship from a well-established Academy member.
The nominations for this year’s awards will be announced on Thursday 7 April.
