The Ivors Academy has announced the nominations for The Ivors 2024.

The annual awards ceremony recognises and celebrates outstanding songwriters and composers across eight categories, including the PRS for Music Most Performed Work.

The nominations for this year's Ivors, which will take place at Grosvenor House in London on 23 May, have now been revealed.

77 songwriters and composers have received Ivor Novello nominations in 2024, with 60% receiving a nomination for the very first time. Leading the way are Sampha and Yussef Dayes, who are both up for two Ivors each across the songwriting categories, while composer Daniel Pemberton has been nominated twice in the screen categories.

In the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category, Harry Styles' As It Was — the 2022 hit written by Harry, Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson — has been nominated for the second year running. The other contenders are PinkPantheress and Ice Spice’s Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2, Jazzy’s Giving Me, Kenya Grace’s Strangers and Sprinter, the collaboration between Dave and Central Cee.
