The Fall to release 30th studio album

Mancunian post-punk stalwarts The Fall have announced details of their new album RE-MIT.

The band, led by its founder and only constant member Mark E Smith, will release this latest studio record in May via the Cherry Red imprint.

RE-MIT will feature 12 tracks and see the band tour the country in support of the record. The continually changing line up of the band currently features Peter Greenway (lead guitar), Keiron Melling (drums), Elena Poulou (keyboards,vocals), Mark E. Smith (vocals) and David Spurr (bass).

Formed back in 1976, The Fall have released a total of 90-plus albums including compilations and live recordings alongside studio albums.

RE-MIT will be released on CD and vinyl and preceded by a seven inch single release for Record Store Day.
