Tech Music School launches three new degrees to celebrate thirty years of excellence.

Celebrating thirty years of excellence in music education, West London’s Tech Music School is proud to announce the launch of three new BA (Hons) Degrees: Music Business, Music Production and Songwriting, starting October 2012.

Each three-year degree offers students an unrivalled opportunity to learn from a team of professionals, all of whom work in the industry across a range of disciplines, in our unique learning environment that mixes academic study with practical, real world application and collaboration:

BA (Hons) Music Business: mixing a study of the traditional foundations of all business alongside the changes in new technology that are reshaping the music industry and putting independent artists, producers, labels and managers in the driving seat.

BA (Hons) Music Production: comprehensively tailored for composers, song collaborators, arrangers, audio engineers, music supervisors, studio managers, sound designers, re-mixers, live engineers, teachers, executive producers, label and original copyright owners.

BA (Hons) Songwriting: includes modules in composition, stylistic analysis, arranging, lyric writing, recording skills, musicianship, music business, music production, composing music for the moving image and writing to commission.

Studying for the Music Business degree at Tech Music School fires you into the beating heart of the music industry in the most vibrant, dynamic and exciting city in the world. Our graduates are working all over the world, across many disciplines with artists as diverse as Courtney Love, Massive Attack, Nerina Pallot, The Cure and many more.
