The piece, entitled NHS, is to celebrate the value and importance of the National Health Service.
It will feature people’s voices simply saying the letters ‘NHS’ and will form part of the London Sinfonietta’s Notes to a New Government event.
Those wishing to take part should record their voice here. The process is simple and takes around 10 seconds.
The event takes place at the Purcell Room, London on 9 May and has been co-curated by the London Sinfonietta with Matthew Herbert and the Royal Philharmonic Society.
The project calls on 16 composers to consider the society before them and will include new protest works by Shabaka Hutchings, Emily Hall, Herbert, Jason Yarde, Hejira and more.
