SXSW will launch a London edition of its multi-disciplinary festival in June 2025.
Renowned for its annual week-long event in Austin, Texas, SXSW will bring its heady cultural mix of conferences, live music and debate to the UK next year.
Organisers say that as SXSW’s official European edition, SXSW London will have ‘its own distinctive personality’ and will take place across several venues in Shoreditch over the space of a week in June 2025.
SXSW London will feature a mix of keynotes, music showcases and innovations in tech, gaming and screen. The packed programme will also feature ‘boundary-pushing visual arts, design and fashion’, with exhibitions and interactive and immersive experiences set to take place in public spaces.
Creative talent from across Europe will be celebrated during SXSW London, ensuring that ‘the convergence of creativity and culture, unexpected discoveries and connections between visitors is encouraged’. The festival will also continue SXSW’s commitment to sustainability in the fight against climate change.
