Musicians should take the survey before 15 April 2015. Visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/hmukhearing to take part, and choose to be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 iTunes voucher.

In 2014, Help Musicians UK conducted a survey of the issues that affect musicians at all stages of their career and found that 47 percent of respondents have experienced hearing issues.

The charity also found that musicians have nearly four times the rate of hearing loss of the general population and have a 57 percent greater chance of experiencing tinnitus.

Findings from this year’s survey will help the organisation to support musicians in this area.
