Spotify, the streaming and music subscription service, is now available for free on mobile devices.
Daniel Ek, chief executive officer and founder of the business, made the announcement at a press conference in New York.
Now music lovers can access their playlists, favourite artists and back catalogues via their iOS or Android tablets and smartphones.
The news came as Spotify also unveiled expansion into 20 new markets in Europe and Asia, taking the total number to 55.

The service is now available in Bolivia, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Malta, Micaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Slovakia and Uruguay.
Alongside this news, Spotify also heralded the arrival of Led Zeppelin to the service.
The band’s legendary Atlantic/Swan Song catalogue is now available for streaming on Spotify including Led Zeppelin albums I - IV.
