Sony Playstation’s director of music Chuck Doud will be among the speakers at Games Music Connect, a conference dedicated to video game composers.
Taking place on 15 September at the Purcell Rooms at London’s Southbank, the event will welcome many of the leading lights from the industry to discuss challenges and opportunities facing the genre.
Chuck, director of music for Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) Worldwide Studios, will provide a keynote speech discussing current and future visions for video game scoring as well as celebrating its vital role in interactive entertainment experiences.
Sony’s in-house Project Morpheus music team will also explore the aesthetics and functionality of in-game music scores for Virtual Reality platforms.
