The next SongWriter event has been announced and will take place in Palm Springs in May and has been created for aspiring songwriters to improve their skills with the support of industry professionals.
PRS for Music has partnered with SongWriter Camps for their latest camp, which will take place over the three days from 13 – 16 May, where event attendees will learn from experienced professionals, attend masterclasses, collaborate with other songwriters, build their network, perform their own work and improve their song writing skills.
The camp’s mentors have worked with artists including, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Demi Levato, Joe Jonas, Christina Perri, Avril Lavigne, Selena Gomez, John Legend, Seal, Corinne Bailey Rae, Maria Carey and Joss Stone.
SongWriter Camps were founded by hit songwriters Pam Sheyne, who co-wrote Genie in a Bottle for Christina Aguilera, and Richard Harris, who has also penned several number ones.
