Music licensing company PPL has released an official chart of the Most Played Love Songs of the 21st century.

Chasing Cars, Snow Patrol’s 2006 Grammy-winning track comes tops, followed by Rule the World by Take That at number two and Can’t Get You Out of My Head by Kylie Minogue at number three.

Aggregated using PPL’s exclusive UK airplay data, the chart collates those songs about love, longing and adoration played on BBC and commercial UK radio stations between 2000 and 2015.
