Claire Mcauley from The Music Publishers Association, songwriter Etta Bond and Ras Wellington from production team the Heavytrackerz will be among the speakers at the Artist Network event.
Taking place at PRS for Music’s King’s Cross office on 1 December, the event, hosted by creative consultancy Small Green Shoots, will explore the latest challenges and opportunities facing the music industry.
According to organisers, ‘the event has a songwriting focus that will include live performances, a discussion panel with industry specialists and an opportunity to network and collaborate with other artists’.
‘This network aims to provide support to artists in developing their profile, industry knowledge and access; whether that is through networking, sharing information on showcase opportunities, studio discounts or funding, we want this network to be led by artist’s ideas and needs.’
Other confirmed speakers include Bhavesh Patel from the PRS for Music Foundation and Dani Sawyer from the Universal Music Group.
