The owner of Slane Castle has announced that there will be no concert this year at the Irish venue.
Lord Henry Mountcharles announced the news on the Slane Castle's Facebook page, saying 'there will be no Slane festival this year, but 2013 will be busy'.
Performers who have headlined Slane concerts include The Rolling Stones, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Guns N' Roses, Madonna, R.E.M., Foo Fighters and Oasis.
