Sensoria to debut I Dream of Wires

Sensoria is bringing the UK premiere screening of I Dream Of Wires to Sheffield.

The film is billed as an independent documentary about the history, demise and resurgence of the modular synthesizer.

It will be initially shown at the Sonar Festival in Barcelona, before heading to Canada and the UK.

Made by Robert Fantinatto and Jason Amm, the film contains interviews with numerous modular musicians, inventors and enthusiasts including Trent Reznor, Daniel Miller, Vince Clarke, Gary Numan and Chris Carter.

The Sheffield screening, organised by the city’s music and film festival Sensoria, will take place on Saturday 21 June at the Heeley Institute.
