Sister Ghost, Treehome, Owen Denvir and Plague Artists are the four acts to have been chosen for the Oh Yeah Music Centre’s Scratch My Progress programme.

Over the next ten months the artist development initiative will provide the bands with recording studio time, a professional photo shoot, vocal coaching, copyright, IP and licensing support, PR and digital marketing advice and one-to-one meetings with industry professionals.

Charlotte Dryden, project manager, said: ‘We’re delighted to welcome the latest recruits, and we can’t wait to get stuck in. It’s going to be another top year, and we’re especially looking forward to exposing them to the additional support and advice of PledgeMusic and Help Musicians UK.’

Previous graduates of the programme include Hot Cops, Katharine Philippa and Go Wolf.

Scratch My Progress has been supported over the past three years by the PRS for Music Foundation and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

PledgeMusic and Help Musicians UK are also now partnering with the initiative.

The Oh Yeah Music Centre is a registered charity housing rehearsal rooms, a recording studio, a music exhibition as well as running education programmes.
