Ailie Robertson (pictured), Hannah Tuulikki and Martin Suckling are among the composers to be nominated for the inaugural Scottish Awards for New Music.
Robertson has been shortlisted in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Award for Achievement in New Music category, alongside Ilan Volkov and Alasdair Campbell.
Tuulikki features in the Sound Art / Electroacoustic Work category for her work SOURCEMOUTH : LIQUIDBODY.
Suckling has been nominated in the Large Scale Work category, sponsored by PRS for Music, for his Piano Concerto.
Other nominated composers include Claire McCue, David Fennessy, Stuart McRae, Helen Grime and Robert Irvine.
Irvine is shortlisted in both the Recorded New Work and New Music Performers of the Year categories.
The awards ceremony takes place at the Drygate Brewery, Glasgow, on 8 March.
Organisers said over they received over 180 nominations submitted by artists, audience members and the general public.
They ranged from amateur musicians and emerging artists to major organisations and household names and covered a wide-range of new music.
