Emerging artists are being urged to take part in a Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) survey to help assess the biggest challenges they face in today’s music industry.
The FAC’s Where’s the Money anonymous survey, which takes a couple of minutes to complete, will help the organisation better understand the careers of new artists in the UK.
It will also shed light on their main revenue streams and where the problems lie for independent artists who are supporting themselves.
The results will go on to inform FAC policy and will also be used to bring together bodies from across the industry so they may better support the careers of rising musicians.
Survey respondents who share the survey on social media and tag the FAC (@FeaturedArtists) will be entered into a free prize draw to win a seat at the Artist & Manager Awards 2017 in London.

The FAC is a membership organisation providing support, advice and education to empower artists in the UK. This includes running workshops, mentoring and networking sessions.
It also promotes transparency and fairness within the industry, and campaigns for artists’ rights at national and international government level.
