Barluath, TRIP, Findlay Napier and two time BBC Radio Scotland Young Folk Finalist, Ryan Young (pictured) are among the acts confirmed for TradLive ,which will be streamed entirely on YouTube on 23 September.
The one day interactive music festival is the brainchild of Hands Up for Trad, an organisation which promotes Scottish traditional music and brings it to new audiences through projects such as the Scots Trad Music Awards.
The one day event will also feature music and conversation from The Hur, Gnoss, OBT, Paddy Callaghan Trio and Josie Duncan.
Music fans from across the globe will be able to tune in and watch the festival from 2pm to 11pm (BST) via the Hands Up for Trad YouTube channel.
Event founder and Hands Up for Trad creative director, Simon Thoumire, said: 'TradLive will be a jam-packed event with music and interviews from some of the best musicians in the trad industry.
'At Hands Up for Trad, we’re always looking for new ways to showcase the unbelievable talent we have here in Scotland. We’ve established a network of 140 countries with our monthly podcast and we wanted to give people the chance to enjoy some spectacular trad acts from the comfort of their homes but still be personal and interactive.
'It’s a free event, though we would ask that viewers make a charitable contribution instead of a ticket fee. Tune in and celebrate the debut of our brand new digital festival.'
