Rudimental and Bastille, two of the biggest new British acts of 2013, will be performing at the BRIT Awards 2014.
The pair, alongside US singer songwriter sensation Bruno Mars, will join Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry in playing live at the event on 19 February next year.
Both Rudimental and Bastille have enjoyed great success this year with their albums - Home and Bad Blood - both topping the UK album charts. The latter’s record was the biggest selling debut record of the year.
Rudimental said: ‘We are really looking forward to playing the BRITs. We went to the event for the very first time this year when we were nominated for best single for Feel The Love. We didn’t win but it was such an amazing night celebrating the best of British music.
‘So to actually be a part of the event this time round is the icing on the cake after such an incredible year too. We are definitely going to bring the party vibe.’
Meanwhile, Sam Smith, vocalist with Disclosure and Naughty Boy, was recently announced as the winners of the BRITs Critics’ Choice award.
