It’s Meet the Young Artists Week will offer audiences the chance to meet artists from the Jette Parker Young programme, which brings together emerging singers, conductors and directors from around the world.

The week-long activities take place from 19 to 25 October at Linbury Studio Theatre, London.

They include free recitals, a workshop, a chance to meet the young artists in person and a new production of Peter Maxwell Davies’s The Lighthouse, directed by Jette Parker associate director, Greg Eldridge.

Current artists include Russian soprano Vlada Borovko, Irish soprano Jennifer Davis, British bass James Platt, Australian tenor Samuel Sakker, British bass David Shipley, Ukrainian baritone Yuriy Yurchuk, Italian conductor Jonathan Santagada, Scottish pianist Colin J. Scott and British stage director Richard Gerard Jones.

The programme is designed to support their artistic development over a two-year period, during which time they are immersed in the life of the Royal Opera House, form their own artistic identities and receive guidance on their future operatic careers.
