Dean Blunt, Jamie T and Royal Blood were among the winners at the NME Awards.
Taking place at Brixton Academy, Kasabian and Jaime T scooped three prizes each while recent M magazine interviewees Royal Blood picked up two gongs including best new band and best live act.
Another notable winner was elusive and eccentric producer Dean Blunt, who picked up the Philip Hall Radar.
According to reports, Dean wasn’t at the event to pick up his award.
Former Slits guitarist Viv Albertine won best book for her biography Clothes, Clothes, Clothes. Music, Music, Music. Boys, Boys, Boys.
