RIP Records Introduces has returned for 2017, with a series of monthly releases from brand new artists including Manchester’s Matadors.
The first single came from London indie scamps Hotel Lux, with Matadors owning February’s instalment.

RIP Records, which has brought us Blossoms, Tangerines and Peluché over the last couple of years, will compile all the tracks in an end-of-year 12-inch release.
Pete Heywoode, RIP Records founder, said: ‘The Introduces series is something we’ve been wanting to do for a little while and will give us the opportunity to support some fantastic new talent that haven’t yet got a team around them.
‘Quite often, I get sent lots of bands/artists that are really at that very first starting point - sometimes it's not the best idea to go in full throttle with a release campaign whilst they are finding their feet and building a team around them, so this series is there really to ease these new artists in with a bit of exposure and hopefully attract some more industry professionals around them. We are absolutely buzzing to have launched the series with some extremely varied and original talent from not only the UK but internationally too.’
