Ringo Starr is to release a new book and ebook featuring unseen photographs from his childhood and life on the road with The Beatles.
Photograph is a collection of never before seen images from Ringo’s own personal archive. The photos include shots of his family home, childhood as well as pictures of the Fab Four both at play and performing on their way to stardom.
The ebook version of the publication allows readers to zoom in on images and listen to audio clips provided by Ringo.
His narration reveals the stories behind the images while the former Beatles has also put together exclusive video content for the project.
Photograph will initially be published as an ebook and be available from the iBookstore on 12 June.
This will be released to coincide with the Grammy Museum Exhibit Ringo: Peace & Love in Los Angeles - select images from the book will be on display as part of the exhibition.
Later in December this year, a hand-bound edition of the book, limited to 2,500 copies all of which will be signed by Ringo, will be published.
