Music industry organisations have collaborated to produce a new resource pack for all musicians affected by the closure of the crowd-funding company.

The pack has been created by the Musicians Union (MU), The Association of Independent Music (AIM), Help Musicians UK, the Featured Artists Coalition (FAC), Music Managers Forum (MMF), Music Support, PRS Foundation and The Ivors Academy.

The pack is designed to signpost affected musicians to the guidance and support they might need following PledgeMusic’s demise.

In the aftermath of the PlegdeMusic’s closure, the MU wrote to company’s board to outline its members losses, as well as working alongside music industry organisations to assess the extent of losses across the industry.

A petition to close PledgeMusic was heard in court on Thursday 31 July, with no forewarning of the hearing.

If you have been affected by the closure of PledgeMusic you can access the resource pack here.
