The Independent Venue Week 2019 ambassador will be chatting to fellow grime MC Big Zuu about his career at a free event in association with PRS for Music and Independent Venue Week, and fans have an opportunity to bag free tickets to his performance later that evening.

The grassroots music venue celebrations will be kicked-off with the event on 28 January at the 100 Club, London, and the first 30 registrations for the talk will receive complimentary tickets to Novelist’s show, which will take place later that evening.

The sixth edition of Independent Venue Week returns in early 2019, and the South-London grime ace will be touring the UK for the duration of Independent Venue Week’s run.

Other artists confirmed include Swim Deep, Beans on Toast, Thurston Moore, and Billy Bragg, with nearly 200 venues signed up to the initiative and 92 towns, villages and cities taking part.

During the week’s celebrations PRS for Music will also present The Strangers with a Heritage Award at the site of their first ever gig, The Star Inn in Guilford.
